March 2011

I have been REALLY terrible about updating this blog. And Solly just gets bigger and sweeter all the time. Highlights of recent time:

  • Solly is potty-trained!

  • Solly is sleeping in his own room (mostly)!

  • Solly somehow learned how to break dance, which he shows us then exclaims, "I've got skillz!" I think going to daycare is a little like going to Las Vegas.

Check out these recent and not-so-recent photos:

California Dreamin' 2010

Sol and his mama just spent a week in California, enjoying all that Calaveras and Alpine Counties have to offer. It was splendid! Check it HERE.

SPRING 2010

Solomon's third Spring already. Sigh. Highlights include, relentless and unabating RAIN, a new front yard, lots of loving grandparent visits, KTR travels to Mexico, and a near-complete basement renovation. But most importantly, Solly just keeps getting CUTER! See for yourselves: http://picasaweb.google.com/111332444166085760603/SollySpring2010#

More Solly Magic

Our little man is now TWO! Sol has been loads of fun lately. And now our mild winter is easing up and making way for cherry blossoms and longer days. Click here for a snapshot of Solly's winter 2009/2010. LOVE FROM SEATTLE.

Fall 2009 is upon us

These days Solly is equal parts trickster, tyrant, lovebug, comedian, helmet-freak, and sweet little boy. We love him so much! Check out a long overdue crop of photos here:

Summer Vacation 2009

You've likely heard about our epic summer. We took a two-week road trip to California with stops in Santa Cruz, San Francisco/Oakland, the Russian River, and the Smith River before heading back to the PNW. Seattle has felt a lot like California since mid-May when the grey and drizzle lifted for good. We hit the 103 degrees Fahrenheit mark last week for the only time in recorded history. The scorching temps have meant many trips to various sources of water. Sol is walking, talking, and sassing his parents these days! Good thing he's such a cutie. See for yourself:
